## What it is

Four Star POS is point-of-sale software for Pakistani retail and wholesale shops. Shopkeepers print thermal bills, track stock across godowns, manage udhaar (customer credit) and supplier khata, and see true profit after cost. It is built for dukaan owners (kiryana, cloth, pharmacy, wholesale, small workshops), not for enterprise IT teams.

Staff can use it in Urdu or English. Daily billing does not need internet.

## What it does

- Fast POS billing: search by name, barcode scanner or item code; hold/resume bills; one-off items; thermal receipts (Urdu or English); gate pass from the same sale
- Payments: cash, card, split, or udhaar with running customer balances
- Product catalog: barcodes, photos, cost, sale price, MRP, variants, multi-level units (box → strip → tablet / carton → piece)
- Bulk Excel/CSV upload for products and purchases (any column layout: map columns, preview, then import). Migration from another POS if the shop has Excel/CSV
- Stock: quantity per godown, fulfilment priority, barcode labels (thermal roll or A4), inventory ledger of every sale/purchase/return/adjustment
- Batches and expiry per item (none / batch only / batch + expiry); FEFO — nearest expiry sold first
- Purchases and supplier khata (payables)
- Sale returns (full or partial) that restore the right batch; customer ledgers and collections; shop expenses
- Reports: true profit after cost (COGS) and margin, P&L, udhaar aging, dead/slow stock — products, sales, P&L and reports downloadable as PDF/CSV
- Module-based staff permissions (sales, godowns, purchases, reports); auto-logout; logo and bill layout
- Works offline; multi-branch and chains

Staff attendance (daily/monthly summaries, biometric-ready devices, PDF) is an optional add-on. It is not in the Rs 999 plan. Do not invent an add-on price — send people to WhatsApp.
